Red clover tea - if you are a tea drinker, then having a cup of red clover tea is ideal when your symptoms are at their worst. You do not have to take this in tea, it’s also available as an extract, supplements or even wine. Any of these forms will be natural remedies for allergies, and should help to ease the symptoms for you.

Accupuncture – this is being very widely used for the treatment of severe allergies. Some recent research has shown that out of 26 patients that recieved accupuncture, all of them felt that their symptoms had lessened. You will be able to find local acupuncturists in your phone books, library, or Eastern Medicine Center.

Other natural remedies for allergies will include taking a look at what you are actually allergic to and taking steps to avoid contact. As an example if dog or cat hair, sets you off sneezing, then obviously you would try and stay clear of them – you should also wash your hands if you have to touch them, and avoid touching any part of your face.

Dust mites are a very common allergy, and they are present in everyone’s home. There are some precautions you can take though, for example you can cover both your mattress and pillows with special covers that house dust mites will not be able to penetrate. You could also change any carpets in your home for laminate floor, wood floor or tiles with scatter rugs that you can wash frequently.
